Bad Bathroom
The owner agreed to update 2 bathroom and expand 1 of the bathrooms. First the negative reviews online are extemly accurate. The owner Kurt starts with excuses and continuall delays. He started months late and his first day was a no call no show. His people when they come arrive late, dissapear and leave early. They didnt even know that tiling in bathroom needs waterproffing. The damaged my property, smoked in the house and dont know contracting work. They were messy and did substandard work. It has been 8 months and need a new contractor. I askefor my money back and gotten dead silence. Stay away from at all cost!!!!

Retaining Wall
Contract terms seemed great, they seemed willing to please, but all that was just a show to get our money. Couldn't get the wall straight - so crooked, finally, after 3 attempts, got it right and IMMEDIATELY wanted a "progress payment". After they got their "progres payment" all progress ceased. Wouldn't return calls, promised to come out, etc. After starting the job in October of 2011, they thought they had finished in April 2012, but did not meet the requirements in the contract. Again, asked for final payment. Ends of wall are not correct, no fill dirt - as promised. Please do NOT use this contractor. A job they promised to be complete in 6 weeks, is still not complete. No final payment from us!

The good with the bad
There are a some complaints listed on here by a couple people but we wanted to say that we were pleased. The work Biltwell did for us was excellent. Kurt came to us and gave us a firm price not an estimate, like some some other contractors, in March 2010. The price was fair. The trim and painting project started in early April 2010 and was completed on April 28th 2010. We are very pleased with the work that was done for us. The workers were very polite and considerate. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Refunded deposit with a NSF (bounced) check
We cancelled our contract with Biltwell within the legal three day time period. Mr Fresa gave us a Biltwell check for a refund of the $4,200 we deposited with him. His check was returned from the bank as insufficient funds! After a two week time period, no sleep wondering if we would ever get our money, and our promise to him we would seek legal action agains him for taking our money, we finally got back our money, in cash as we demanded, in two separate payments. We should not have gone through that at all. He should have return our check. He has a terrible business sense. It is our feeling he is using deposit money to finance other projects! Do not use this company. Period. Better business rating for this company is rated F! Do your homework people.

*** Poor Contractor - Buyer Beware!
I have contracted Biltwell Enterprises, LLC. from Bridgeport, WV to do a driveway and sidewalk replacement. This project started April 18, 2010 and still to this day (July 18, 2010) it has not been completed. I have sent emails including pictures regarding/depecting issues and incompletions and/or poor workmanship. All I have received is excuses and false promises. I have even sent a Demand for Completion Letter via Certified US Postal Service which was Returned to Sender because the contractor refused/failed to retreive it. I suggest all who may be considering a Biltwell Enterprises, LLC project to read the fine print and make sure ALL is in writing - especially dimentions. I have started filing paperwork with the WV Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully they can get this resolved. I know I have gotten nowhere

Biltwell Enterprises - Nothing Surprises Me Anymore
Over four months now and I still do not have a completed project as written before. Since my last comment, I have filed paperwork with the WV Attorney General Consumer Affairs Department, WV Better Business Bureau, and the WV Contractor's Licensing Board for possible resolution. As of this date, Biltwell has not responded to any of these agencies. Additionally I have found through further investigation, Kurt the owner of Biltwell, ordered a 3500 PSI mix instead of the contracted 4000 PSI mix of concrete for my sidewalk and driveway project. Clearly, this in itself is a breech of contract which further shows the business practice this company has. At this rate, I think I am going to have to take this case to litigation for a resolution. Good luck to any who decide to use their services. Maybe some have had a positive outcome, but God knows I haven't!

Mr.Joseph Nitz- you got more than what you paid for and now you want to slander our company. We have photos and would be glad to show them to anyone who wants to see them.
You typify the customer that forces contractors to take down payments because YOU are not trustworthy.
You phoned us and said you would slander us and would not pay. Yet you asked for more all the time and could not be satisfied.
